AMPS is Taking Part in the Central Park Plunge Fundraiser
On the 28th of October, Brendan Parker and Tara Carnevale will be taking part in the Central Park Plunge. The Central Park Plunge is a great fundraising event where participants abseil down the Central Park Tower on St George’s Terrace to help raise $350,000 for Perth Charities. This year, Brendan and Tara will abseil 130 meters (33 floors) from Central Park Tower (Rio Tinto building) to raise money and awareness for 12 Buckets.
12 Buckets helps children to flourish and build resilience and confidence, regardless of background or circumstance. They envision children having every opportunity to engage in their education and become independent young people who have a sense of belonging and contribute to society through their skills and generosity. Tara is currently a volunteer mentor to a year-1 student through the 12-Buckets mentoring program.
By taking the plunge, we are giving children the opportunity to engage in their education as all funds raised will support the mentor and peer support programs.
Moral and or financial support is greatly appreciated for this amazing cause! Thank you!
