Brendan ParkerPrincipal Engineer

Brendan graduated from the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM) with a Bachelor of Mining Engineering Degree (Hons). Since graduating he has gained a wide range of experience within various mining operations in Australia, China and Canada, which has given him a diverse knowledge of different mining environments, techniques and management structures.

Brendan has extensive experience with metalliferous projects in both operational and consulting environments. His experience ranges from drill and blast system implementation, engineering specific training, mine planning and optimisation to involvement with various mining studies from scoping through to feasibility, due diligence evaluation and initial public offerings.

Brendan holds a Western Australian First Class Mine Managers Certificate and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM).

Underground Mining Staff

The AMPS underground engineers are experienced in production, drill & blast, mine design and planning aspects of underground mining. They have been trained in multiple mine design software packages and have significant site based practical experience to suit a wide range of differing sites.

Engineers mainly focus on generating & optimising site specific technical documentation, assist with engineer training, provide site based support for engineers and complete site based drill & blast contract work as required.

Open Pit Mining Staff

The AMPS open pit engineers are experienced in production, drill & blast, mine design and planning aspects of open pit mining. They have been trained in multiple mine design software packages and have significant site based practical experience to suit a wide range of differing sites.

D&B Technicians

The AMPS drill & blast technicians have been trained specifically by AMPS in all aspects of underground drill & blast and in various software packages. They are highly skilled at completing all underground drill & blast designs to a consistently high standard.
